Only a few yacht clubs are in Czech Republic because Czech Republic is inland country. Yacht Club Modra lodenice is located on the banks of Slapy dam - one of the biggest Czech dams.
You can find the Slapy dam on the Vltava river in the central region of Czech Republic. In terms of area (1,162.6 ha) this is the sixth largest dam in the Czech Republic. It has a depth of 58 m. So, the Slapy dam is suitable for sport yachting.
In the vicinity of the dam is many tourist attractions. There's also a lot of sports facilities - Yacht Club Modra lodenice is one of them.
