Dedicated October 2012, the new center is home to the county’s 911 dispatch, the Emergency Management Agency and Emergency Medical Services with six ambulance bays. Built for just under $1.6 million, the 9,000 sqft center relocates the services from outdated facilities. Interestingly, the building is constructed to be tornado proof, thus able to continue operations in case of that disaster.
