There are at least three of these historical markers placed around Gettysburg and attached to historical, NRHP buildings to designate the former boundary of the Manor of Maske, warranted in the eighteenth century.

This historical marker is attached to the bricks of the Adams County Courthouse, a now defunct 150+ year old building located at the corner of West Middle and Baltimore Streets. The smallish tablet, not more than a foot or so hide and less so wide can be found on the the far left or southeast corner of the building, eye level facing the east. Like the other two nearby markers, this one reads:
