Schönausteg is a cable stayed pedestrians bridge across the river Aare in the south of Bern. It connects the city quarters Lindenau with Kirchenfeld and the nearby zoo Dählhölzli.

The bridge was built in 1906; before a ferry was used that still exists a few hundred meters upstream.

In summer the bridge is a popular starting point for river swimmers.
