As the name says, this is the South Beach in Ericeira. It's a "city" beach as it's located directly in the town. Sea may be rough, and in high tide the beach basically vanishes. I can remember though when there was wide space available, no matter the state of the tide, but that was a long time ago.
Not so good for swim, but a valid option for those who don't have a car. Anyway, parking is difficult during the season, and there is not an obvious spot to drop the car. Just find a place in a nearby street.
