Between 300 B.C. and 600 A.D. a prehistoric culture called the Hopewells flourished in Ohio. Evidence compiled indicates that the religion and lifestyle of these people revolved around a mysterious worship of the dead.
The 1932 excavation of this small mound, with its eleven burials, unearthed numerous unique artifacts that contributed to a better understanding of ancient peoples in northern Ohio.
