This spot can be reached directly by vehicle. It is just a few yards north of a well-maintained gravel road and there are many OHV tracks in the area, including right over this spot.

From Mojave, proceed east on California 58 about 10 miles to a gravel road that proceeds south. Follow this road until it reaches a utility service road running east and west. Proceed east until you reach 118 degrees west. Turn off to the north on any of the OHV tracks until you reach the intersection point.
