We found this wavy place when we stopped at the lighhouse while touring the Island. We drove right up to the lighthouse and from there we followed the foot path which goes to the cliff. We could have watched the huge waves crashing against the rocks, for hours. It was fascinating.
Before we left to explore the island, we were advised not to swim on the eastern coast of Barbados (Atlantic side) unless we were accompanied by someone who knows the safe places. When we saw these humongous waves we understood why we had this recommendation.
Of the four lighthouses on Barbados, the East Point Lighthouse is certainly the most picturesque sitting above the cliffs of Ragged Point.
