There is no sign accompanying this piece...it is just curiously located in a corridor of the Central Station in Oslo. It is actually quite small... perhaps 1/3 life-sized...and depicts a redheaded teenage boy sitting on the floor wearing a green jacket and blue jeans. He has a black bag on his right side and a cup..soliciting money between his legs on the floor.
It is diffiuclt to tell what materials are used... Would appear to be plaster...but perhaps paper mache? Perhaps even painted metal of some sort?
One notices many people turn around after passing the piece to question what they just noticed with their peripheral vision.
