Built prior to 1898, this structure is actually two distinct buildings which now share a common façade. The northern building, the Hoffman
House, was considered the best hotel in the district boasting a dining room, club rooms, a bar room, 25 bedrooms and 4 bowling lanes in the rear.
The Collins House, the smaller building was a bar and pool room until the late 20’s when it became Rossland’s first library.
This building is registered in the Rossland Heritage Register.
