As a centennial project this clock is an important part of the development of this park that runs between the Athabasca River valley and 50th Avenue near 50th Street (Main Street).
Now, over 100 years old, the province of Alberta is the most populous of the Canada's three prairie provinces that were created from the Northwest Territories on September 1, 1905.
