OSHD Nicholson Rd BM - Klamath County, OR - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This Oregon State Highway Department benchmark is located on top of the SW concrete abutment that spans a creek along Nicholson Rd, just a couple of miles west of Fort Klamath. This benchmark is in good condition and has no designation stamping on its face. Based on the design of the abutments and the look of the benchmark, I would put its age from about the 1930s to 1940s.

This benchmark is easy to spot from the road. My posted coordinates will put you exactly at this benchmark location in the SW corner of the south abutment.
