Marker Text: Constructed for $8,000 by the contracting firm of Olson & Erickson, the Davidson Meat Market was the most modern in Central Oregon at the time of its construction. The building was constructed to resemble the front of the First National Bank building next door. The defining architectural details of this building are largely hidden by barrel vaults and an awning, which are modern additions.
