In Foxborough, on the Foxborough Common, is a stone monument that is dedicated to Foxborough Firefighters who died while on duty.

The memorial is located on the northwest part of the common, in a grassy area, flanked by bushes.

The text on one side states, "Dedicated in the Memory of the Firefighters of Foxborough - Faithful and courageous in their service to the public" There is a shield at the top and flower designs down the face.

The text on the other side states, "Killed in the line of duty Town House Fire June 1, 1900

At the base of the memorial are several disks planted in the ground with the names of the first three names, again. A few feet from the monument is a stone planted in the ground with the name, "Smokey II."
