Lamp post honoring the coronation of King Edward VII which took place 9 August 1902.  The lamp post was placed in 1902 and is listed as a Category II structure on the Heritage register. The lamp has a green fluted shaft with yellow dragons standing at its base.  There is a shield inscribed:
