Die Linden (Tassilolinde und Marienlinde) im Zentrum der Fraueninsel, markieren deren höchsten Punkt. Die wohl 1000jährigen Linden dürften wohl schon den Bewohnern im Mittelalter Schatten gespendet haben. Die Marienlinde muss aufgrund ihres hohen Alters bereits mit Stahlseilen gesichert werden.
The Linden (Tassilo Linde and Marienlinde) in the center of the island Frauenchiemsee, mark their highest point. The apr. 1000 year old Linden could probably donated shadow to the inhabitants in the Middle Ages. The Marienlinde needs to be secured with steel cables due it's advanced age.
