Starting with a two sheet rink, the club has gradually expanded to three, then four sheets. An all-volunteer organization, the club is able to grow and remain solvent through the donated time and effort of an army of volunteers. Even the icemaking is done by volunteer labour in an effort to save the cost of a dedicated icemaker. As well, the construction of the building was accomplished by volunteer labour. To save on heating, a heat pump reuses heat from the brine cooler to heat the ice area.
As mentioned, the rink houses four sheets of artificial ice as well as a lounge, restaurant, a large banquet room, and a full basement for lockers and storage.
