The Mercardo featured on the ORLANDO edition, Monopoly board. Alas the Mercardo once a festive World marketplace, now only exists in our memories and dreams. Almost fully demolished a few years ago, the site has been awaiting development.

The Mercardo - Shown in the purple section of the ORLANDO edition, Monopoly next to the Jail. The Mercado used to stand on International drive, which was a major shopping centre, that went downhill, then out of favour with the tourists. the whole site is now abandoned and deralict, with just one small entrance sign and one building left standing on this 14 Acre site.
The entire area is fenced off, with a green screening fence.
