The Powerhouse - Route 66 - The Mother Road on Waymarking.com

The Powerhouse was a major source of electrical energy for the area during the early years of Route 66 which passed directly by its east end. The building has been renovated and now contains the Route 66 museum and the Arizona Historic Route 66 Association. It has been designated a Route 66 Roadside Attraction by the Hampton Inn Save-A-Landmark program.
