DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1954 0.8 MI S FROM MONUMENT. 0.2 MILE WEST ALONG A GRAVELED STREET FROM THE GRADE SCHOOL AT MONUMENT, THENCE 0.6 MILE SOUTH ALONG THE DENVER AND RIO GRANDE WESTERN RAILROAD, 175 YARDS SOUTHEAST OF A FARMHOUSE, 27 FEET WEST OF THE WEST RAIL, 9 FEET BELOW THE TOP OF THE RAILS, SET IN THE TOP OF THE NORTH END OF THE WEST HEADWALL OF AN ARCH CULVERT UNDER THE RAILROAD.
