How can any warm blooded American pass up a joint called Grandpa's Cheese Barn?

Well although some of us can't pass up an attraction like Grandpa's Cheese Barn, I suppose there are some who can. For the rest of us just the name beckons us in. Happens both the "D" and the "R" in dnrseekers are cheese lovers and there is no way it could be passed up. We scored on all fronts...
The place is a novelty stop for sure but it is a fun place to experience. Downstairs in the cheese barn is ice cream service and a restaurant on one side and a other section with all sorts of snack items such as dried fruits, trail mixes, and so forth. But that brings the question "where's the cheese?". It's up stairs!
On the second floor of the barn is a huge cheese shop--of course. So many samples! So many things to try! It's great. And as if all this is not enough when you leave the cheese barn there is a fudge and candy shop straight acroos from the parking area. It's loaded with fun things to try as well.
The atmosphere is that of a "cheesey" tourist trap for sure--but it will still light you up with a warm smile.
