This 1915 Porter 0-6-0 locomotive steam engine - number 102, greets patrons to a popular restaurant, The Steaming Tenders, that occupies a retired railroad depot, at 20 Depot Street, in Palmer, MA. The engine was once owned by the Southern Sand & Gravel company and is now used as the restaurants logo. This 4' - 8.5" gauge engine was build by the H.K. Porter company as #5661 in 1915 and was acquired by the restaurant from the Rietta Ranch Flea Market of Hubbardston, MA
