"Central Florida native Frank Gady creates his sculptures from found materials and assembles those disparate elements into cohesive forms that both please the eye and spark the imagination. In addition to his work as a sculptor, Gady also mentors aspiring sculptors as an adjunct professor of sculpture at Winter Park’s Crealdé School of Art." Text Source: (

Surrounding The Mennello Museum of American Art, are park like gardens, showcasing unique and interesting sculptures at every turn. Many of the small welded silhouette-style sculpture, are by Paul Marco. But this sculpture is by Frank Gady
"Czechoslovakian artist Paul Marco’s sculptures exhibit a variety of influences. The unique, rustic forms of his works recall the primitive setting of his home in Maine, while the animals forms and mask-like faces of his figures reflect the artist’s interest in and study of African sculpture and masks. Marco claimed that his art was “rich with association,” as he believed discarded pieces of early American farm equipment he used to create his works were fraught with latent meaning of the contemporary viewer. His works seem to emanate a type of exuberance and joy that comes from a respect for the past cooperating with an eye for creation.
Paul Marco (1911-1997)"
