This is a very beautiful old gate located in a garden of a business house at the 'Rotebühlstraße' in Stuttgart, Germany, Baden-Württemberg.

The gate is only used for decoration.

It was designed by Hans Schmidt and created by Jakob Horlacher in 1903.

There's a plaque at the gate telling it was found in the ruins of the house 'Tübinger Straße 26' which was destroyed in 1944.

There's an inscription at the reverse side of the gate:
Hans Schmidt hat's erdacht - Jakob Horlacher hat's gemacht.
(Hans Schmidt has thought it - Jacob Horlacher has done it.)
