The final resting place of Oklahoman Loren Tindall is at the west side of Memorial Park Cemetery, at the east side of section 18. His is a flat, light grey marker, with only his name and dates of birth/death.
Loren Tindall was born in Oklahoma in 1921. He had versatile roles in 18 movies and TV shows, many of them westerns, movies about war and life after war, and even a musical. Loren acted alongside some of the big stars of the day, including Robert Mitchum, Donald O'Connor, June Allyson, Peter Lawford, and even Francis the talking Mule.
According to the IMDB, he:
Attended Columbia University on a music scholarship graduating with B.A. and B.S. degrees. Composed music and played concert piano. Was discovered for movies while in Philadelphia to help launch the U.S.S. Oklahoma City. That city's mayor was a family friend and asked Loren to give a speech. Max Arnow, head of Columbia Studios Talent heard him and offered him a screen test in New York.
Loren passed away at the young age of 51 in Hollywood, California.
