The Aalmarkt is located in the heart of the historic centre of Leiden. The redevelopment of the Aalmarkt and environment provides the necessary improvement and expansion of the shopping area. This program consists of several activities that must improve the centre of Leiden and make it an attractive place to visit, to work and to live.
The building in the middle of the picture is the Stadsgehoorzaal which has been renovated in 2009.
