Poplar Fire Station is under the umbrella of the London Fire Brigade. The fire station is located on the south side of East India Dock Road close to All Saints Church and DLR station. The memorial plaque is on the front of the building.

This fire station was built in the late 1960s so did not
exist at the time of the London Blitz during World War II. The blitz started on
7th September 1940 and the firemen mentioned on the plaque were killed just a
few days later.
The plaque reads:
