The Florida Welcome Center is located just south of the Alabama - Florida border on U.S. Highway 231. The display is located on the right side, as one faces the Center, on the path from parking to the building.

There are eight information signs about wildlife one might see in Florida, with a sample of their "footprint" in concrete below each sign. Looking at the display from left to right, the creatures are: Wild Turkey, Great Blue Heron, White-tailed Deer, Bobcat, River Otter, Florida Panther, Florida Black Bear, and American Alligator. It almost appears to be arranged by size, with the alligator having the largest print.

There is no other information about the display at the site.
