The monument "Vrouwenverzet” in Leiden is a bronze sculpture group of four female figures. One of the women holds combative her right fist in the air. The image is placed on a rectangular base.
The text on the pedestal reads:
'TER ERE VAN ALLE LEIDSE VROUWEN
UIT HET VERZET 1940 - 1945.'
