These gentle herbivores were designed to protect themselves. Euopocephalus means "well armoured head" and was given this name because of the armour that would have covered his entire body, even the head.
The Euoplocephalus also had spike and spines all over him and horns growing from the back of his head.
Lastly, this dinosaur had a large club on the end of his tail, allowing a strong bash to attack predator with.
