This beautiful, new, bright-red town clock stands on the east side of Terrace Avenue at 5th Street in downtown Chama, New Mexico.

This clock occupies a central position in the small village of Chama and is readily visible to everyone passing through on the main thoroughfare.
The four clock faces are a rather plain circular white face with numerals only at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 positions. The faces are inscribed "Village of Chama" in red letters and are mounted on the four faces of the traditional cubic top typical of the old-style timepieces.
The clock and installation were paid for through popular suscription as evidenced by Donor Bricks in the paving surrounding the clock.
