Rapid Station, Prangin Mall—Penang, Malaysia - Bus Stations on Waymarking.com

This bus station conveys the good people of Georgetown across, and then back again, of the northern side of the wonderful island of Penang. The station is under and adjacent to the sprawling Prangin Mall. One enters by walking down a long slopping road. The station area is not that well lit, and is rather dark, and perhaps even a little gloomy and noisy. If claustrophobic maybe catch the bus at its first stop, rather than here. There is a small food court, though I would not think that this was the very best place on the island to eat.

On the road leading to the station are a line of small travel companies that sell tickets for long distance journeys around Malaysia and to both Sing and Thailand. These long distance buses also park in this area.

Rapid is a semi-private bus company, which runs bus services around the island, and has several bus stations.
