The Mount Isa Annex (Signage on the building indicates 'Business Centre') is located at 64 Camooweal Street, and provides a limited range of services. Post office boxes are not available and there is no passport business. It is open Monday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, closed Saturday and Sunday.

Mount Isa is a city in the Gulf Country region of Queensland, which came into existence because of the vast mineral deposits found in the area. Mount Isa Mines (MIM) is one of the most productive single mines in world history, based on combined production of lead, silver, copper and zinc.
