In 1866 Saxony joined Austria and sent its army into Bohemia, alongside with the North Austrian Army.

For this reason, majority of Prussian armed forces were gathered in north Bohemia. On 22nd June, 1866, the Elbe Army crossed the borders by Lobendava; the First Army entered Bohemia on 23rd June, by Hrádek nad Nisou – Frýdlant in Bohemia. Both armies joined on 28th June 1866, at battle of Mnichovo Hradište.

This monument is located at Mnichovo Hradište cemetery and is dedicated to the fallen common soldier.

V roce 1866 se pripojilo Sasko k Rakousku a poslalo svou armádu do Cech.

Vetšina ozbrojených sil všech stran se sešla v severních Cechách. Dne 22. cervna 1866, Labská armáda prekrocila hranice u Lobendavy a První armáda vstoupila do Cech dne 23. cervna od Hrádku nad Nisou - Frýdlantu v Cechách. Armády se pak stretly dne 28. cervna 1866 v bitve u Mnichova Hradište a Kurívod.

Tento památník se nachází v Mnichove Hradišti na hrbitove a a je venován obycejným padlým vojákum této bitvy.
