This azimuth mark is located on a street corner in a neighborhood in Clanton, Alabama. It can be found at the northeast corner of the intersection of 4th Avenue North and Hannah Street.

The mark itself is in good condition, with the information still completely legible. There is some wear around the edges, but so far it does not affect reading the information. It appears the home owner has kept the area trimmed and not bothered the mark. As can be seen in the photos, the mark is near a fire hydrant. One can park easily on Hannah Street and walk to the site.

The Station Clanton 1971 1985 mentioned in the description is .3 miles away west on 4th Avenue and can be easily found in front of a church. A photo of that mark is also included.

The 1985 description from the datasheet reads:

TO REACH FROM THE JUNCTION OF US HIGHWAY 31 AND STATE HIGHWAY 22 IN CLANTON, GO WEST ON STATE HIGHWAY 22 FOR 1.7 MI (2.74 KM) TO RUTH STREET AND MARK ON THE RIGHT. AZIMUTH MARK IS A STANDARD DISK, STAMPED CLANTON 1971, SET IN THE TOP OF A ROUND CONCRETE POST, FLUSH WITH THE GROUND.
