This station is the light atop the large tower (designated NIAGARA MOHAWK CORP LT) in the middle of the Niagara River, north of Grand Island and viewed from Buckhorn Island State Park. The tower is the largest of the three in the river between the Grand Island bridge and the breaker wall at the NW point of Buckhorn Island State Park.
