Robert Frost Bench - Corvallis, OR - Dedicated Benches on Waymarking.com

As a former student of Oregon State University, I've passed by this old, stone bench dozens of times and never really noticed it... until now. Back on campus to see my alma mater play football this past weekend and noticed the plaque on the bench. Upoin doing some research online, I learned that the quote that appears on the plaque is from Robert Frost. The plaque reads:

For H.R.S.

Two roads diverged in the woods, I took the one less traveled "with you" and that has made all the difference.

I cannot find any other information on this old bench and can only surmise that the initials represent a married couple, with one spouse dedicating this bench to the other. In any case, this bench looks to be at least 100 years old and it would be nice to find out the history behind it.

**UPDATE 2/3/2017** A recent Instagram post from OSU mentions this bench being 113 years old. That would mean this bench was installed in 1904 and the OLDEST dedicated bench I've waymarked. :)
