Sinnemahoning State Park Office & Wildlife Center - Austin, Pennsylvania

This $3.8 Million, 9,300 Square Feet Park Office/Visitor Center facility opened in October 2011 and received LEED Silver Cerification from the US Green Building Council shortly after opening.

Surrounded by Elk State Forest, the 1,900-acre Sinnemahoning State Park is on the First Fork of the Sinnemahoning Creek and has picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and deep valleys. The park features a 142-acre lake created by the George B. Stevenson flood-control dam.

Off Road Directions:
When traveling from Sinnamahoning, from the intersection at Route 120, travel N 13 miles on Route 872 to the northern entrance of Park Road. Turn right and the park office is located 1/2 mile from this entrance on the right. If traveling from Austin, continue S 13 miles on Route 872, to the first paved entrance on your left which is Park Road; the park office is located 1/2 mile from this entrance on the right.
