Canadian National (CN) abandons the section of track through the municipalities of Carignan, Chambly, Richelieu and Marieville.
Since the train no longer happening in the region, since 29 January 2007, a few projects were discussed by the elected representatives of the region.
As for the sections deemed unprofitable and abandoned, they are often used as paths for linear or bike paths parks.

Depuis que le train ne passe plus dans la région, soit depuis le 29 janvier 2007, quelques projets ont été évoqués par les élus de la région.
Quant aux tronçons jugés non-rentables et abandonnés, ils sont souvent utilisés comme trajets pour des parcs linéaires ou des pistes cyclables.
