The Severn Valley Railway runs for 16 miles from Kidderminster in Worcestershire to Bridgnorth in Shropshire. It is the remaining operational section of the 40 mile route from Hartlebury in Worcestershire to Shrewsbury in Shropshire opened in 1862, closed in 1963. 5 miles of old track were purchased by enthusiasts in the mid 1960s and the railway has grown over subsequent years to it's current 16 miles.
Operates daily in Summer, less frequently in Winter, runs Santa Specials before Christmas.
