Through the centre of the southern Thai city of Surat Thani ("The city of Good People") runs the Tapi River, and, as you would expect, there is a pier on the River in the city. The pier area runs along the River for ~500m, and there are several small pier buildings where good folk (and tourists) can await a boat to convey themselves to a new destination, on the journey of life.

This particular building has the year of dedication on its roof. This is rather unusual, or at least I have not seen before, however, here it is. The year listed in 2525, in the Thai script, and in the Buddhist Era, which translates to 1982 of the Common Era.
Year of construction: 2525
