I located this U.S. Forest Service benchmark after seeing it listed on a topography map as BM 4766. The datasheet description describes a ranger station nearby the benchmark but one no longer exists and has been replaced in 2003 with a new visitor center further up the hill.

The stamping INDIAN WELL refers to a cave with the given name and lies a few hundred feet east of this benchmark. Mush Pot Cave lies only 15 feet south of this benchmark. There is a parking area east of Forest Service Rd 10 and you can walk a paved trail right to Mush Pot Cave and this benchmark.
