The Baroque Column with statue of Virgin Mary on its top was dedicated on 1696 as a thank to Virgin Mary for "protecting" citizens of the city against plaque epidemy in 1680. The column is located on Husovo námestí (Hus' square). The more than 10 meters high column is located on simple pedestal with a Latin inscription engraved on it. It is surrounded with flower's bed. An author of the column is unknown.
