This statue is of a young man playing a flute. It stands in what looks to be a small fountain on the western side of the HCM theatre. The statue is life-sized, looks to be constructed from stone, and depicts the young fellow wearing casual, western clothes.
Access to the statue was blocked when I visited, but I could not see a plaque or any information about the statue. I will assume that it is a personification of the majesty of music and art.
