Construite en 1988, il est situé à plus de 50m de la gorge de la rivière Coaticook, sur une largeur de 2m. Il fût construit au coût de 628,000$.
Construit par une firme local Couillard Construction, sa construction c'est échelonnée sur 6 mois, il a officiellement été inauguré le 29 mai 1989.
