Communist Party HQ—Hanoi, Vietnam - Town Clocks on Waymarking.com

To be frank, I am not entirely certain as to the function of this building, there is no exterior signage, however, I am fairly certain that it is the national headquarters of the Vietnamese Communist Party. I thought about knocking on the front door and asking, but decided not to.

The building is large, long, and impressive. It is in the centre of Hanoi, near the old walled city (the citadel) and opposite the tomb of Ho Chi Minh. The style is of the French colonial era. The clock itself, it must be said, is the least impressive feature to be found here. A standard, circular, black and white clock, two hands. It does possess the redeeming feature that it tells the correct time.
