Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor, Maine is one of the most popular National Parks in the United States. It is the location of this unintentionally funny sign, near a geological attraction that is called "Thunder Hole" because it is indeed a hole, where water rushes in and makes a very loud noise that reminds visitors of the sound of thunder. There are restrooms near the viewing area for Thunder Hole, and they are called the Thunder Hole Restrooms. (of course!)
Because the waymark reviewers require it, I will explain why this could be considered funny. There are also sometimes loud noises that originate from the restrooms, which could also be confused with the sound of thunder.
Actually, there is a 2nd unintentionally funny thing about this sign. The "P" for parking, on a sign for a restroom is also somewhat funny, since "P" is the first letter of a word for an activity that occurs in a restroom.
Did you explain the double meaning of the word(s)?: yes
Did you explain the location or wording that brings the sign's double meaning to mind?: yes
Did you explain the meaning of life? :): no
