This is indeed a special pharmacy. First of all, I would like to call your attention for the full name of the pharmacy. Although I named this waymark as "Farmácia Durão", as in correct modern Portuguese, the real name is "Pharmacia Durão", with "Ph" instead of "F", as it was back in the first half of the 20th Century.

Then, this is a historical landmark by itself. In this pharmacy republican conspirators would pass messages and ideas before the fall of the monarchy. It was a center of fresh ideas, against the old state of things.
