I located this DMATC survey mark imbedded in the concrete foundation of a sewer access plate near the summit of Hamaker Mountain. This mark is in poor condition as the concrete epoxy around the disk edges has eroded and the mark has separated from the concrete foundation and can be easily removed.

This survey mark is apparently a reference mark and most likely part of a benchmark series since the stamping 'RM 2' is on the center of the face of the disk. It also has the year '1978' stamped on it as well as its designation 'JMR STA 10468'. I could not locate any other survey marks related to this mark in the vicinity after a thorough search of the area.

Directions to survey mark: If you're traveling west on Hwy 66 (Green Springs Dr) you'll turn left onto Hamaker Mountain Rd. You'll travel on this newly-paved road for approximately eight miles in elevation to the survey mark near the summit of Hamaker Mountain.
