The Chicago Lakes Overlook highlights both the result of the glaciers that covered the area which carved the lakes and the hazards of hiking with 1,000' (304.8 m) dropoffs! There are educational signs as well as trail heads for hiking. This overlook is a short hike from the parking area at Summit Lake.
